A new study has shown that it is safe for women to get pregnant after they have gone through and completed treatment for breast cancer.

The study was recently presented at the European Breast Cancer Conference in Barcelona.

The study showed that women who have been treated for breast cancer can get pregnant and give birth without increasing their risk of dying from cancer, in fact, getting pregnant may have a protective effect.

Apart from the study, the American Cancer Society suggests women wait 2 years after having treatment for breast cancer before having children.
