Many women who just give birth wont have a period for two months, but the time frame also depends on whether or not they are breastfeeding.

If you are breastfeeding than the normal time frame is two months after birth, however there are some women who will not get their period until after they finish breast feeding.

No matter when your period comes back, it is unclear when you will begin ovulating. Many women will not ovulate before their first period, but 10% of women will. So be sure to actively try not to get pregnant, unless you are planning to have your children close together.

You should also wait to have sex for at least six weeks after childbirth to let yourself health.
