When you have made the decision to begin trying to conceive, you should make sure that you treat your body the way you would treat it if you already knew your were pregnant.
Step one, make sure you are eating healthy and taking prenatal vitamins. Also, make sure you are exercising consistently – the healthier you are the better chance you have of conceiving.
Keep in mind that this also goes for your significant other – the healthier they are, the better chance you have of conceiving.
One thing to keep in mind is different types of chemicals or activities you may want to avoid. Again, anything you wouldn’t want to do while pregnant, you may want to stay away from when you are trying to conceive.
The first is cleaning products – while many are made so they are not as harmful anymore, it is important to make sure you are using chemicals that are safe and that you are not breathing in anything extremely dangerous, or letting anything dangerous touch your skin – as anything that touches you heads straight to the baby.
Also be sure that you are getting plenty of sleep and not perform any overly strenuous activities.
