One of the earliest signs of pregnancy can be Implantation Bleeding. This can take place anywhere from 6 to 12 days after conception when the egg has traveled down and implants itself into the uterine walls.

Not all women get bleeding when this happens, but if you do your first thought is that you are spotting in between periods. However, the color of the bleeding will be more pink than you are used to.

While this is not extremely common many women do report that they have had Implantation Bleeding.

However, to be sure that you are pregnant, you should wait until after your missed period and take a home pregnancy test. If that test is positive be sure to call your doctor and schedule a blood test to be 100% positive that you are in fact pregnant.
